Perceptions of Chances for Success
- Perceptions of Chances for Success: (subject-baseline, subject-follow-up, collateral-baseline, collateral-follow-up, subject-release)
Questions assessing beliefs about how well the subject will do later
in life. Questions are asked of both the subject (reporting on
his/her beliefs, at subject baseline and subject follow-up) and the
collateral (reporting on his/her beliefs of the subject's closest friend's chances, at collateral
baseline). In the release interview, these questions assess their
post release plans. The release interview also contains eight items
that measure the adolescent's perception of the helpfulness of
the program in the youth's reintegration into the community.
