Measures

Below is a list of measures used in the Pathways study and an indication of the interview in which they appear. Selecting a measure and interview will provide a more detailed description of the measure. There are sometimes slight differences to the content and/or psychometrics for measures that are dependent upon the wave (baseline versus follow-up) or the reporter (subject versus collateral). As a result, we suggest that users review all documents which correspond to the interview/reporter source of the data anticipated for analytic use.

Note: The release interview (column 3) was completed by the subject within 30 days of release from a residential placement. The aim of this interview was to obtain the youth's perceptions regarding various aspects of the residential experience and institutional environment. Release information is present only for a subset of Pathways study participants and for a subset of the residential placements.
