Description of Measure
Several questions about the youth's offending are asked of the subject at baseline, including arrest history, past stays in a secure setting and age at first secure confinement. This information is based on the collateral's report and can be used in conjunction with the official record information compiled from court record reviews in each site and Federal Bureau of Investigation files. This official information is contained in a separate set of measures under the heading of "Official Court Records".
The following items are available for this measure:
- Number of times subject has been arrested in lifetime [C0_OffHx0]
- Receive a summons or letter telling subject to appear in court [C0_OffHxA]
- Age when subject was first arrested [C0_OffHx1]
- Age when subject first received a summons [C0_OffHxB]
- Whether subject was ever locked up in a detention center/jail before their most recent arrest/summons [C0_OffHx2]
- Number of times locked up in a detention center/jail before their most recent arrest/summons [C0_OffHx3]
- Age first time locked up in a detention center/jail [C0_OffHx4]
