- Services and Medications: (subject-baseline, collateral-baseline, collateral-follow-up, subject-release)
Included in the subject baseline and collateral interviews are
questions inquiring about the different settings for services the
subject received across three services sectors: social services,
juvenile justice, and the mental health system. Setting types
include drug/alcohol unit, psychiatric care, residential treatment
center or group home, foster care, detention/prison/jail, and
shelters. Also included are a set of questions about the types of
services the youth received while in the community (psychiatric
treatment, support groups, religious services, in-home counseling,
partial hospitalization, and special school services). In the
release interview, youth are asked to report the types of services
they received during their stay. In all types of interviews,
additional questions inquire about medications prescribed to help
with emotional/behavioral problems.
